Consciousness & Meditation

For all that is known to mankind, science and philosophers can’t entirely agree on the nature of consciousness “what it is like to be you”. If you google ‘consciousness” you’ll see it means awareness and that’s the place at which we begin our mindfulness practice.

Investigating the nature of thought is tremendously liberating. We build stories around thoughts which become a belief. Thoughts bring feelings good and bad and states that have not been come into being.

The essence of meditation is awareness, awareness is knowing. Understanding and practicing mindful meditation can bring about an end to suffering, for the majority of us not forever but it certainly helps tremendously in day-to-day living and exponentially increases your level of happiness.
