Strategic psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy can offer several advantages over traditional talk therapies, especially for certain individuals and specific issues. However, it’s important to note that the effectiveness of therapy can vary greatly depending on the individual and their unique circumstances. Here’s why these therapies might be considered more effective in some cases:
- Focused and Goal-Oriented: Strategic psychotherapy is highly structured and goal-oriented. It focuses on solving specific problems and achieving specific outcomes, which can make it more efficient for clients seeking solutions to particular issues.
- Rapid Results: Both strategic psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy often yield faster results compared to traditional talk therapies. They are designed to produce quick changes in behaviour and thought patterns.
- Bypassing Conscious Resistance: Clinical hypnotherapy works by accessing the subconscious mind, which can be more effective for clients who have trouble engaging with more traditional, conscious-level talk therapies. This can be particularly beneficial for issues deeply rooted in unconscious processes, such as phobias, addictions, and certain behavioural patterns.
- Combination of Techniques: These therapies often combine various techniques from different therapy models (like clinical-behavioural therapy, NLP, etc.), providing a more integrated and versatile approach. This can be more effective than therapies that adhere to a single school of thought.
- Empowerment and Autonomy: Strategic psychotherapy empowers the client by focusing on developing strategies and skills that the client can use independently. This aspect of self-help can lead to more sustainable long-term change.
- Addressing Subconscious Beliefs: Clinical hypnotherapy is effective in identifying and altering deep-seated beliefs and attitudes that might be difficult to access through traditional talk therapy.
- Customised to Individual Needs: Both therapies are highly individualised, taking into account the unique background, personality, and needs of each client, which can lead to more effective treatment.
It’s crucial to remember that while these therapies can be highly effective, they are not universally superior to all forms of talk therapy. The choice of therapy should be based on the individual’s specific needs, preferences, and the nature of the issues they are dealing with. As with any therapeutic approach, the skill and experience of the therapist also play a critical role in the effectiveness of the treatment.
Transform Your Body & Mind: A Journey into Body Intelligence, Cybernetics, and Psycho-Cybernetics for Lasting Wellness
Many of my clients choose to work with me because they aim to make positive changes to their bodies. This desire may stem from a health scare, a realization of aging, or an awareness of unhealthy habits related to food and drink.
I love working with these individuals, as the journey of transformation is both profound and exceptionally rewarding.
From the outset, I pose a few questions to my clients that I believe can be valuable reflections for all. Consider these:
1. What journey have you undertaken with your body thus far?
2. In the current state of your relationship with your body, what do you need to let go of?
I encourage a shift in perspective. Rather than coming from a place of a battle to master the body, I focus on mastering our relationship with our body.
Our body is an incredible gift that serves us throughout our lives. It operates 24/7, doing its best with what we provide for it and how we treat it. Our body constantly communicates with us, many are unaware of it. Most people don’t understand the language because it’s never taught.
Therefore, my initial focus is on “Body Talk” — understanding this language and communication, to tap into our “Body Intelligence.” This can be transformative, addressing dysfunctions such as IBS, eating disorders, hypertension, diabetes, and various chronic health issues.
Next, we delve into “Body Identity.” What do you say about your body? Do you chastise it or express anger towards it? Do you openly declare that you “hate” it?
We strategically look at what patterns and processes you are running, consciously and subconsciously.
We explore your “beliefs” about your body. Do you believe your body easily accumulates fat, or that you have poor digestion, or that you’re not a sporty person? These patterns and beliefs often maintain the status quo.
Ever heard of “Cybernetics”? It’s the science of communications and automatic control systems in machines and living things. Psycho-cybernetics can either work for or against us, depending on our beliefs.
Dr. Maxwell Maltz, in his book “Psycho-Cybernetics,” explains how the self-image controls one’s ability to achieve goals. Techniques like visualization, mental rehearsal, and relaxation, developed by Dr. Maltz, has informed and inspired countless motivational gurus, sports psychologists, and self-help practitioners for more than fifty years.
I incorporate Psycho-Cybernetics into my work with clients, rewiring our brains for transformation. If this resonates with you, take action! Book a Discovery Call to kickstart your transformative journey.
Our “healthcare” system is not “health care” its sick care. It responds and treats people for sickness. So let’s explore a revolutionary system that transcends the conventional healthcare model, empowering us to flourish in health way beyond our 50s and 60s.
The Current Paradigm
Our prevailing lifestyle often follows a familiar cycle – we live without much thought to our well-being until illness strikes. Then, we turn to the healthcare system for a fix, only to resume our routine until the next health setback. But what if there was a way to break free from this cycle and tune in to our own body intelligence ?
The Core Dysfunctions
At the heart of many chronic diseases lie dysfunctions that manifest as inflammation. This accumulated inflammation, left unchecked, poses a threat to the weakest links within our body. Yet by tapping into our genetic code, capable of treating and repairing any dysfunction within we can activate our own inner doctor.
The Lifestyle Solution
About 10,000 years ago, the agricultural revolution transformed our way of life. Fast forward to the industrial revolution, and our lifestyle underwent another seismic shift. These abrupt changes challenged our bodies, pushing them beyond their evolutionary design. To unlock our inner doctor, we must align our lifestyle with our body’s original blueprint and genetic code and learn to communicate with our body intelligence.
The 7 Health Lifestyle Needs
Ensure your body receives all the essential nutrients it needs to fuel optimal functioning. A well-nourished body is better equipped to combat dysfunctions and inflammation.
Embrace the natural rhythm of your body, which evolved to move consistently. Incorporate regular physical activity into your routine to support overall well-being.
Prioritize sufficient, regular, and high-quality sleep. Sleep is not just a restorative process; it’s a vital component in your body’s ability to heal and rejuvenate.
Cultivate resilience to stress through inner stillness. Practice mindfulness, meditation, or other relaxation techniques to fortify your mental and emotional well-being.
Recognize the importance of social connections. Nurture meaningful relationships, as they contribute significantly to your overall health and happiness.
Sync with Nature:
Reconnect with your natural environment. Sunlight, gravity, and other elements play a crucial role in maintaining your physical well-being. Sync your lifestyle with the rhythms of nature.
Sense of Purpose:
Discover and nurture a sense of purpose. Individuals with a clear purpose tend to prioritize self-care, fostering a positive impact on their health.
By incorporating these 7 Health Lifestyle Needs into your daily life, you embark on a journey to unlock your inner doctor.
My Holistic Body Reset & Balance Program will guide you in seamlessly incorporating these needs into your daily lifestyle for long-lasting effects. Amidst the overwhelming information about what we should and shouldn’t do, I advocate for the power of simplicity. If you’re ready to transform your health and fitness, book a Discovery Call with me.
As human beings we spend the majority of our lives seeking happiness & contentment but this is a futile search that will end in misery.
Happiness is not something that we will “find”. It’s not out there to be purchased in the form of a new house or car, a holiday, or a new pair of shoes. Granted, these things are pretty awesome, but they will only bring short lived happiness and the search will begin again.
Happiness can not be found in anything external because it’s already inside every one of us. We just need to unveil it, remove the layers of conditioning, materialism and trauma and there we find a place of peace and happiness that we can return to anytime we want.
Getting there could not be simpler. You do not need to spend hours every day in meditation, you don’t need to spend a fortune on self development or manifestation courses. You just need to relax, breathe and take a small trip along the direct path of introspection.
So .. am I saying you just need to sit down, breathe and find happiness within you and you will be happy for the rest of your life? Nope. That would be very boring, it’s lovely for about three minutes but then the bliss ends for me. The power comes in the realization itself, when you unveil your true nature which is happiness and peace you can then approach life from a completely different perspective where you have the tools you need to face anything life throws at you. You also unleash a super power.
Prior to this … lets call it an awakening of your true nature you were resisting nature and the universe you were not flowing with it and allowing nature to flow through you, there were many barriers, tension and a feeling of overall struggle.
When you realize the true nature of reality thats when you flow with it. The vibes of the universe and nature nourish you and provide you with everything required to lead a fulfilled life of purpose. Creativity flourishes, your brain clicks into place and performs effortlessly, your body is energized, ideas appear from nowhere, you meet people that bring great opportunities. It’s like magic !
It doesn’t end there. In time you realize that this super power you discovered within you that’s been with you since you were born, this place of happiness where your true nature lives is actually shared with everyone and everything. It’s an infinite consciousness and when you start to realize it in others a profound change occurs because when we recognize in others a similarity to ourself we feel love and we want to be kind to them.
It was this discovery that gave me hope. If human beings can awaken to the nature of reality, if we can find our own true nature, understand and feel that this is shared with all beings, with our environment and all animals, then this is how we stop the degradation of our planet, stop the exploitation of animals and end the conflict between human beings.
Sure, it will take time. But this is hope. The nature of reality is there for us all to unveil.
If you would like to begin your trip along the direct path of introspection I can highly recommend the teachings of Rupert Spira, he will take you there for free, the best teachings cost nothing but curiosity. You can find out more on his YouTube and website.
I learned something new today, in truth i learn something new most days but today was a “ohhhhhh thats fun” kinda new thing …. i learned that intuition means “in tuition” a teaching “tuition” coming from within “in”. Isn’t that cool !!!
Intuitive intelligence is our sixth sense and it’s a feeling we receive through the vibration of energy in our subtle body. Many people call it a “gut feeling” some people when asked to touch the place where they feel these vibrations will put their hand on the heart or on their chest. We can call this feeling whatever we want “vibes” “instincts” “senses” … call them anything thats comfortable. Even the most practical minded, non hippie, non spiritual person will admit to having these feelings, even if they only admit it to themselves.
EVERYBODY has intuition, we are born with it and in fact a child’s intuition is stronger than adults and they are more trusting of it than adults. As adults we have been conditioned to pay more attention and trust our practical thinking mind rather than trust our intuition. This thinking mind conditioning will not bring us to our true purpose in life, however accepting, trusting and following our intuitive guidance will most certainly lead us to live the extraordinary life that was meant for us and live it with purpose.
Intuition is the communication of our true self, our spirit, our soul …. you can name it whatever feels comfortable … the important piece of knowledge that we need to understand is that our true self is ALWAYS right and can cope with ANYTHING that is thrown at us. If we deny or fight against our true self (intentionally or unintentionally) we will be mentally and/or physically sick, usually this takes the form of a chronic sickness or illness that doctors have not been able to properly diagnose & resolve, for example IBS, repeated sore throats, urinary problems, fatigue, lack of motivation, eating disorders, sleeping problems, stress, depression and anxiety.
Our true self is connected to everything and everyone on a sub-conscious level that most of us can’t understand yet, but as science catches up with what the ancients have been teaching for years we are starting to see a clearer picture and understand the the role our energy body plays in our health, happiness and life’s direction.
When you begin or continue the journey of strengthening your connection and trusting your intuition that represents your true self WONDERFUL things happen, things that leave you awe struck and even thinking to yourself “if i hadn’t seen this with my own eyes i would not have believed it” …. thing is you don’t need to see things with your own eyes … believe and trust first, listen to your intuition and then just see what happens.
If you would like to learn more about your sixth sense i can highly recommend the teachings of Sonia Choquette. I adore her wisdom & playfulness.

Many questions still remain over how the universe began. However “The Big Bang” theory is the most successful way in which astrophysicists explain the origin and evolution of universe.
But how do you judge the success of a theory i hear you ask? A successful theory is one where experiments consistently confirm the predictions of that theory.
The Big Bang suggests that all the space, matter and energy of the known universe was contained within a small, dense fireball one trillionth the size of a small pin point.
According to the theory in a fraction of a second 13.8 billion years ago the fireball exploded then expanded and stretched to grow as large as it is right now and it continues to expand and stretch. It’s mind boggling. Many aspects of the theory remain a mystery. Perhaps the greatest mystery of our time and the root of other mysteries such as consciousness, dark matter and dark energy.
During this initial state which has come to be known to some cosmologists as the “inflation period” it was energy that permeated the universe. Some of this energy congealed into particles, which assembled into light atoms like hydrogen and helium. These atoms clumped first into galaxies, then stars, inside whose fiery furnaces all the other elements were forged.
So what does this energy of the universe have to do with us, i hear you ask?
According to astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, “The atoms of our bodies are traceable to stars that manufactured them in their cores and exploded these enriched ingredients across our galaxy, billions of years ago. For this reason, we are biologically connected to every other living thing in the world. We are chemically connected to all molecules on Earth. And we are atomically connected to all atoms in the universe. We are not figuratively, but literally stardust.”
The body that is with us all our lives is always changing. We are quite literally not who we were years, weeks, or even days ago: our cells die and are replaced by new ones at an astonishing pace. So the question “how old are you?” is unanswerable!
The entire body continually rebuilds itself, time and again. We rebuild using elements captured from our surroundings, the sun, wind, collisions of asteroids and births of stars. We are connected to animals and plants around us.
Our human body is inseparable from nature all around us, and is intertwined with the history of it all.
The more i learn the more my intuition of wellbeing makes sense. When we re-align “ourselves” with nature we feel happier. It’s not a coincidence, its not imagined. It’s the way we are supposed to be.
